What is
Before
Midnight

Before Midnight is rewriting the rules of clubbing. It's the full club experience, with extended sets, proper sound systems and local warm-up DJs, but everything wraps up before midnight.

No more choosing between a night out and functioning the next day. Before Midnight brings the energy, the community and the magic of the dance floor forward, so you can lose yourself in the music and still make it home at a reasonable hour.

It started with a question Annie kept asking herself: what if there was a club night for people who couldn’t afford to lose a night’s sleep every weekend? Since then it has filled rooms in Galway, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and London, where it held down its own residency at Outernet.

From all night long sets that Annie plays herself to bringing along artists she loves, Before Midnight has hosted the likes of Jayda G, Gilles Peterson, Femi Koleoso, Heartless Crew and Melle Brown. As Annie puts it, “when the right mix of people are in a room, alchemy can happen.”

Everything
you need
to know

What time does it finish?

Before midnight, every time. Doors are usually around 7pm and the music stops before the clock strikes twelve. Exact times for each show are on the ticket page.

Who plays?

Annie plays extended sets, often open to close, alongside carefully chosen guests and local warm-up DJs.

Can I come on my own?

Of course. Plenty of people do, and it's one of the friendliest dance floors you'll find.

I have access requirements. Who do I talk to?

We'd love to help. Email info@beforemidnight.co.uk before the show and tell us what you need.
